Although this map represents unemployment rates overall across the U.S., minority unemployment rates are nearly triple this in some areas of the country. The color coding is ranked from 0-15 percent with the lightest shades being the lowest areas of unemployment at that time.

Money, tough times, and the lack of means often bring out the worst or best in human nature. It seems racial tension and racist acts are on the rise worldwide?


In recent weeks, cities across America are experiencing acts of racism — from graffiti, looting, and vandalism, to violence and murder.


These incidents have occurred from Pasadena (graffiti) to Philadelphia (looting and vandalism), to violence (Milwaukee), and murder of a black man in Jackson, Mississippi. Racist acts are occurring from coast to coast, and all points in between


Then there is the unrest and violence abroad from Canada to Britain to Norway and beyond.
