Osama Bin Laden is dead. But we cannot let our guard down. Members of Al Qaeda, the terrorist organization he lead for nearly two decades, vows to avenge his death with additional terrorist attacks against the United States.


Therefore, Americans, while feeling some sense of relief, remain watchful.


That was very evident a few days ago, when a Delta Airline pilot refused to fly with two Muslim passengers onboard his plane. Despite the Imams clearing security, the pilot thought they could be terrorists and therefore endanger the safety of his passengers.

Is it in the name? Is it the belief by more than 25 percent of Americans that he is Muslim despite his repeated affirmation that he is Christian, and doubt that he was born in the United States? Or, is it because he is the first black President of the United States?

The DREAM Act: Should This Legislation Be Implemented At The National Level?

In December 2010,the United States Senate voted against the national DREAM Act legislation that in one form or another has been in the system since 2001. Current numbers show that 11 states have passed legislation to allow undocumented immigrants to be eligible for in-state tuition benefits at a state’s public colleges. 


As supporters continue to fight for its passage on the national level, should this Act as described below garner the U.S. Senate vote to pass it into legislation?
