Dear Confused,
Racism comes in all colors. As long as there are differences among people there will always be prejudice. No race or nationality is immune to it.

Mac McDonald didn’t know anything about wine, but moonshine was a different story since his dad made it in the tiny town of Butler, in east Texas, where he grew up. But one day when he was about 12, one of his dad’s friends had a bottle of wine and offered young Mac a taste.
It was love at first sip.
“It was a red Burgundy,” he recalls. “And I’ve spent my life trying to re-create that experience.”
Most people know Scott Joplin as the composer of “The Entertainer,” the insanely bouncy tune in the classic Newman-Redford film “The Sting.” Those who dig deeper may also know that Joplin was one of the leading figures of the musical style known as ragtime. However, only a few knew the other side of Scott Joplin – the side that was a confirmed believer in the idea that African-Americans could only get ahead in the world through education.
He believed in this idea so firmly that it may have helped kill him.
